Skills & Responsibilities:

  • Installation of Oracle Cloud Console 13c
  • Configuration Oracle ZDLRA (Zero Data Loss Recovery Appliance).
  • Configuration Oracle Audit Vault server, and to present audit reports to the management as and when required.
  • Handling Database on Exadata Engineered Machines.
  • Configuring the Servers as per the application requirements & certification matrix.
  • Scripting EXPDP & RMAN Backups on Linux & Solaris.
  • Cloning the databases from Production to Test & QA environments.
  • Working on service tickets raised by the application support teams and end users.
  • Monitoring database health checkup, space allocation, checking alert log & trace files for errors and contacting oracle support if necessary.
  • Executing structural changes to tables, building indexes, inserting data thru SQL Loader, export/import and insert statements.
  • Analyzing tables, indexes, generating statistics for better performance.
  • Applying the Quarterly PSU/Bundle patches.
  • Coordinating with SA team when applying OS level patches.
  • Handing All FMW Related Administration Tasks.
  • Installation of Solaris & Linux operating systems.
  • Configuring the memory parameters and network layer.
  • Shell scripting as per the application & database requirements.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or computer science.
  • Proven work experience as a Database administrator.
  • Proven Work experience as FMW Administrator.
  • Skills in LINUX/SOLARIS Administration.
  • Familiarity with Oracle database design, coding, and documentation.
  • Knowledge of database backup procedures, recovery systems, and SQL.
  • Knowledge of programming languages and API.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to visualize algorithmic structures.
