{"id":1382,"date":"2025-09-14T20:18:42","date_gmt":"2025-09-14T20:18:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobs.sudancareer.com\/?p=1382"},"modified":"2025-09-14T20:18:43","modified_gmt":"2025-09-14T20:18:43","slug":"data-center-engineer-jobs-in-qatar","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jobs.sudancareer.com\/?p=1382","title":{"rendered":"Data Center Engineer Jobs in Qatar"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The primary responsibilities of the Data Center Engineer:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Functional Responsibilities<\/mark><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Coordinate and maintain the MEEZA Data Center Facilities Monitoring and Management Systems and report on the status and performance of various systems.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fault handling and escalation; identifying and responding to faults on MEEZA\u2019s data center facilities liaising with internal technical teams and 3rd party vendors, handling escalation through to resolution.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Performing periodic audits of data center equipment and systems to ensure they are functioning as intended.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Facilities maintenance: monitoring and management of DC infrastructure systems such as building fabric, cooling, power, security, safety and cleaning.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Facilitating the IT rack installation by providing required power, cooling security and networking systems and components.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintenance of technical documentation for processes and procedures used throughout normal operations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Supervising the subcontractors and internal technical team to perform the preventive maintenance of the systems based on the Approved Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) schedule.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Coordinate CAFM service and ensure all the activities are correctly mapped in the system.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Troubleshoot issues that arise within the data center environment, including power, cooling, security and network problems.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Implement changes to the data center environment as directed by senior technical staff or management.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Monitor data center infrastructure and escalate issues to senior technical staff or management as necessary.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide service cover for the data center resources.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Install, move, and de-commission hardware as necessary.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure compliance with all risk, safety, and security protocols related to data center operations.
