Four different jobs in the Norwegian Refugee Council organization in Sudan. Salaries are in dollars.
NRC recently re-registered to work in Sudan and is currently in its initiation phase in the country, conducting assessments and designing the first steps of the programme. The focus will be on people displaced by conflict, refugees and migrants at risk, and the potential geographical areas of work will be the state of Khartoum, South Kordofan, Gedaref and Blue Nile in the first phase, with the idea of expanding to other states.

Monitoring and Evaluation Assistant Details:
Experience working as a M&E in a humanitarian/recovery context
Minimum of a university degree in social sciences, economics, rural development or other related fields. Previous experience in monitoring and evaluation is required
Postgraduate degree in monitoring and evaluation related fields such as surveys, sampling and data analysis
Previous experience working in complex and volatile contexts
Able to travel to other regions in Sudan.
Knowledge of cash-based interventions and market-based programmes
Documented results related to job responsibilities
Experience from working in IDP/refugee related programs.
Experience and knowledge of current principles and methods of monitoring and evaluation in relief and development programmes, using both quantitative and qualitative methods.
Experience handling notes.
Fluency in English and Arabic.
Computer skills including MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
Knowledge of digital data collection platforms (Kobo, Comcare, ONA).
Monitoring and Evaluation Officer Details:
Experience and knowledge from working as a M&E Officer, M&E Assistant or alternatively as a Program Person
Previous experience working in complex and volatile contexts such as Kordofan is essential
Good working English and fluency in Arabic
Good computer skills including Word and Excel and willingness to learn new database software (eg Kobo etc.)
It is necessary that the applicant be either a citizen of one of the states of Kordofan or have a family link to one of the states of Kordofan
ICLA officer details:
Experience from working as a Project Officer in a humanitarian/recovery context
Previous experience working in complex and volatile contexts
Documented results related to job responsibilities
Knowledge of English. Knowledge of Arabic is an asset
An undergraduate law degree is a very strong asset; Alternatively, consideration will be given to a degree in social sciences, political science or a related subject if the candidate has a sufficiently strong background in protection-related work
Minimum of 2 years humanitarian experience with refugees/internal displaced persons (IDPs) at field level with an NGO or other international organization.
Knowledge of international humanitarian law, human rights law and national law applicable to IDPs
Knowledge of SPHERE standards and durable solutions
ICLA Sudan North Darfur official:
Experienced from working as a project officer in a humanitarian/recovery context
Previous experience working in complex and volatile contexts
