The purpose of the job
The Sr. Service Station Supervisor is responsible for the efficient operation of the petrol station and car wash department. S/he will be responsible for managing, planning and developing the department to meet customer needs while ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations.
Main responsibilities:
Develop and implement policies and procedures for the efficient and effective management of the gas station and car wash facilities.
Develop and implement strategies to improve service quality and efficiency.
Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the gas station and car wash department, while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.
Ensure all equipment, tools and facilities are maintained and in good working order, scheduling repairs or replacement as needed.
Overseeing the daily operations of the gas station and car wash department.
Develop and maintain relationships with customers to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Oversee the maintenance and repair of fuel pumps, tanks, and other equipment to ensure they operate safely and efficiently.
Collaborate with departments and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and service delivery.
Identify opportunities to improve service station efficiency and profitability, and make recommendations to senior management for changes to procedures or equipment.
Perform ad hoc duties as assigned by the Fleet Manager
requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, minimum of 7+ years’ experience in a management role in the gas station and car wash industry.
Job related knowledge:-
• Knowledge of gas station and car wash operations.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and company policies.
• Knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
• Knowledge of budget management and financial analysis.
Skills (job specific):-
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Ability to analyze and solve problems.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
