About the role:

As the Senior Manager Cabin Services Training, you will manage, develop and facilitate comprehensive Cabin Crew training strategies to support corporate goals and manage resources in terms of time, product and people in order to deliver world-class training programs for a multicultural workforce.

To be successful in this role,

  • You will need a university degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Adult Education or a related field and 10 years of job-related experience or a High School / Vocational / relevant Diploma certificate and 12 years of job-related experience
  • You will preferably have 5 – 7 years of senior management experience leading a large multi-cultural training / Human Resource Development department in an airline or service related industry. 
  • You will have awareness of Professional programs in Strategic Sales, Airline Marketing, Revenue Management, Reservations System and In-flight service. 
  • You will have a broad knowledge of adult learning principles, curriculum design best practice and learning methodologies.

2.Manager HIA Operations(Closing Date: 13-10-2023)

About the role:

As a Manager – HIA Operations, you will be responsible for helping us achieve this ambition through:

Leading and managing the Airport operation on a shift basis and ensures that the Airport operates in compliance with all regulatory requirements and established policies and procedures while ensuring that all agreed levels of service and quality are delivered at. Hamad International Airport. Coordinate the implementation of all emergency procedures in the event of a major incident.  During Non-office hours acts as the designated Senior Airport Authority representative at HIA.

  • Leads a multi discipline team to deliver excellence in customer service throughout Hamad International Airport.
  • Ensures on shift that all customers, third parties and agencies are kept advised on relevant operational information.  Provides direction and advice to all Airport users.
  • Collaborates with all Airside and Landside sections and plans on a shift basis ensuring that all staff and Equipment is allocated efficiently and promptly.
  • Critically examines all aspects of the Airport operation to identify improvement possibilities that could positively affect the Airport Service Quality ratings (ASQ).
  • Coordinates with Customer Airlines to ensure their unique requirements are satisfied.  Proactively develops and maintains professional working relationships with individual station Managers and their staff.
  • Provides accurate executive   brief to senior management via shift reports   and verbal   reports with comprehensive detail in the event of a significant event.
  • Accountable for the performance of the Airport Operations Control Centre on a shift basis and ensures that all KPls and SLAs are maintained.
  • Responds to accidents and incidents as laid down in the Airport Emergency Plan to investigate/analyze and coordinate with relevant departures to ensure detailed reports are provided together with recommendations to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Manages and instigates business continuity procedures in case of infrastructure failures to ensure minimum disruption to the Airport operation.
  • Participates in all Aircraft and vehicle incidents and accident investigations and recommends/implements preventative and corrective measures.
  • Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant College or University qualification to min Bachelor’s level, post graduate degree in a related field will be an advantage.
  • Airline courses on Passenger Services, Ramp Operations Baggage and Cargo will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum 8 years relevant experience.
  • Specialist knowledge of Airport Operations Airside and Landside.
  • Full Driving license.
  • Excellent knowledge of ICAO Standards and recommended practices (SARPS) on Airport operations and Aerodrome Emergency procedures.
  • Preferably have experience in senior management role, process reengineering, solution design, project management change management, demonstrated leadership and motivation skills; significant experience gained in a Commercial Management Team.
  • Seasoned professional in all Airport Operational areas and Airport/Airline Control Centre experience preferred.
  • Preferably have attended Aerodrome Safety Management courses and relevant ICAO/AC/IATA training and Hub Control experience.
  • Comprehensive experience on Airside Operations (Terminal Operations and Resource planning) preferred.

3.Administration Coordinator – Qatar Duty Free(Closing Date: 28-10-2023)

About the role:

As Administration Coordinator, you will provide administration support for the smooth functioning of the Food and Beverage department on a daily basis. You will perform secretarial duties, which require the handling of confidential and sensitive information and represent the department through the management of correspondence, telephone and personal contacts. You will also undertake projects as directed by the Senior Manager F&B or Operations Manager in order to support Departmental/Corporate initiatives.

Key Accountabilities include but are not limited to:

  • Performs various secretarial and administrative duties to support requirements and maintain the department functions smoothly on a daily basis. Handles a wide variety of situations and tasks involving the administrative function of the office. Tactfully handles enquiries and/or refer to appropriate personnel/department.
  • Manages, coordinates and maintains calendar of appointments, travel arrangements, records of communication (documents, faxes, mail) to meet the requirements of the department, to record, filter, disseminate and communicate all incoming and outgoing matters.
  • Provides business documentation support, including report writing, presentation creation and spreadsheet preparation and distribution of such materials. Compiles reports as directed and ensure that all files are complete and properly maintained.
  • Independently manages multiple tasks and assigned projects whilst respecting the deadlines and simultaneously ensuring the integrity of all information and data.
  • Communicates and provides information internally and externally to assist and enable administrative support and effective service to the concerned sections.
  • Refers routine matters to appropriate person for action and follows up to ensure completion.

4.Senior Food & Beverage Hostess (Arabic Speaking) | Qatar Duty Free(Closing Date: 15-10-2023)

As a Senior F&B Host/Hostess, you are responsible for delivering outstanding hospitality service in the premium outlets of QDF F&B. You will provide information, guidance & PR to customers, provide effective operational support and assistance to the Assistant Restaurant Manager and/ or the Restaurant Manager. You will also motivate and inspire other colleagues and assist with all tasks within a defined area.

Key accountabilities include:

  • Welcome, greet and seat guests, and present the menus to guests with a positive approach and a smile, and always maintain positive body language. Treat all guests in a professional manner to ensure complete guest satisfaction; always strive to exceed guests’ expectations.
  • Handle the table bookings, takeaways, waitlist, arrange dining reservations for guests in advance and as they arrive at the restaurant, escorting guests to their tables, monitoring the open dining sections of the restaurant for empty and cleaned tables for guest reservation.
  • Regularly check reservation list, coordinate with Service Associate and kitchen staff for necessary preparation of guest arrival.
  • Inspect and maintain the dining facilities to ensure dining areas are cleaned and tables are ready for the guest arrival.
  • Collect comment cards from the guest and compile all feedback for management attention and action for future improvement.
  • Compile all administrative data and manage online bookings and retail orders.
  • Post orders on POS and assist with payment whenever necessary.
  • Answer the phone and answer question concerning the menu/retail items of the restaurant, ensuring all queries are answered timely and accurately.
  • Check the menu appearance regularly to ensure all menus are updated and presentable as per company standard.
  • Observe tables and keep track of clean, dirty and occupied tables and update the reservation system accordingly.
  • Maintain up to date menu knowledge of the restaurant along with all retail service and respond to guest queries accordingly.
  • Maintain effective communication in regards to allergens, reservation, special requests and any other dietary requirements to all related departments to ensure a smooth service delivery.
  • Interact with guests as they arrive by using their names and as they leave the restaurant to ensure positive dining experience by offering consistently professional, friendly, warm and engaging service by building an exemplary rapport.
  • Adhere to highest grooming and appearance standards at all times to portray a professional image of self at workplace.

5.Food and Beverage Attendant | HIA Lounges(Closing Date: 01-11-2023)

About the role:

Coordinate and liaise between the respective Food and Beverage Supervisor by delivering a high quality of standard food and beverage service within assigned area of service. The role will also be required to ensure that a high level of customer service is provided to customers with attention to detail with emphasis on increasing brand value at all times.

6.Spa Therapist – HIA Lounges(Closing Date: 31-10-2023)

About the role:

As a Spa Therapist, you will be based at Hamad International Airport (HIA) and will be responsible for providing an excellent and consistent level of service to the Guests of the First Class Spa through the performance of professional massage therapies, body treatments, facials, manicures, pedicures and waxing (aesthetic services).

Responsibilities include:

  • Perform spa treatments as scheduled to a high standard of safety and effectiveness respecting the level and description supplied
  • Ensure safe, effective and enjoyable treatments for all Guests at the Spa

You must hold CIBTAC and CIDESCO beauty therapy qualifications or have an equivalent internationally recognized Beauty Therapy Diploma.

You will be a Customer Service professional with a minimum of 2 years work experience as Beauty Therapist within a 5-star Resort/Hotel, day Spa or Airport Spa with experience in professional massage therapies, body treatments, facials, manicures, pedicures and waxing (aesthetic services).

You should portray a good command of the English language (Arabic language is an advantage), have strong interpersonal skills, be results-driven, have a positive and approachable attitude and also be a great team player who thrives in working with a multi-cultural team and guests alike.  In addition, you should be IT literate and can work on computers with ease.

7.Terminal Duty Manager(Closing Date: 12-10-2023)

Overview:

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Terminal Duty Manager to join our team. As the Terminal Duty Manager, you will oversee the entire passenger terminal complex activities, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional customer service. This is a 24/7 role that reports to the Senior Manager Terminal Operations, with a line to the HIA Operation Manager.

  • Manage and supervise terminal operations, ensuring efficient and effective passenger flow.

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Airport Services Duty Supervisor. This role is based at our station in Oslo.

Reporting directly to the Airport Services Manager, you will supervise your team to deliver exceptional customer service to our customers to ensure they receive the award winning 5-star service Qatar Airways is renowned for. You will also be required to support the Airport Services Manager when needed as well as displaying excellent skills to deal with flight delays, disruptions, denied boarding and any other challenges.

  • Facilitate ramp handling in liaison with all airport staff to expedite departures
  • Supervise the airport team to ensure on-time flight closure and working towards overall on-time performance
  • Plan efficient duty allocations of manpower during duty periods for Customer Service Agents and provide support to the Airport Services Manager in case of flight disruptions, mis-connections and other passenger related disruptions
  • Provide leadership, demonstrate team building skills, direct staff and evaluate performance as well as being able to build on constructive feedback

  • Knowledge of Norwegian strongly preferred.

The ideal candidate will be Operates both light and heavy vehicle- such as Catering High loader, and loading/offloading of flights on time with the assigned allocation. Ensures safe and on-time delivery to the customer as per the customer agreed SOP and timelines and safe operating of both light and heavy vehicles. Responsible to follow all safety & vehicle regulations stipulated by the company. Responsible to report any damage/defect caused or observed while using light and heavy vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • On-Time Dispatching of Allocated Flights as per the Airline Specifications / Galley Loading Plan (GLP) and Food Safety Standards.
  • Responsible to always follow Speed Limit and to wear Safety Belt whenever Driving light/heavy vehicles Airside/Landside.
  • Responsible for Correct and safe aligning of High loader to the Aircraft or to the Unit Docks.
  • Following the Safety Measures of Placing Cones and Chocks when aligned to an aircraft.
  • Responsible for checking and safe guarding of duty Tablet/Radio/Mobile/Personal Protective Equipment.
  • Responsible for completing the Driver Movement Sheet on every shift.
  • Responsible for keeping the Driver Cabin Clean and Free from Foreign Object Debris (FOD) and Food Products.
  • Checking and Reporting of vehicle damage/defects on time to Shift in charge.
  • Responsible to Load and Off-load Catering safely and as per customer specifications.
  • Responsible for appropriate handover and sign off for light/heavy vehicles to shift in charge.
  • Responsible to inform Transport for vehicle re-fueling before Sign Out.
  • Appropriate Loading and Off-Loading of Charter/Amiri NlP/Private Aircrafts.
  • Adherence to Ramp Safety and Marshalling of High-Loader while performing duties Airside/Landside.
  • Provide prompt information and updates to Transport Duty Supervisor for their immediate action/decision.
  • Prepare clear and detailed reports with facts & figures in case of Flight Delays/Accident/incident.
  • Co-ordinate with all concerned senior on duty inside and outside the Organization in case of any Emergency. To always abide by company, Local Authority and Airport processes, procedures and regulations at all times.
  • Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed b the Head of the Department.

About the role:
The Lead Digital Screens Officer is responsible for operating and managing digital content for QDF. They will validate the content received from the brands, scheduling at the right time in the right location and following up on any incidence to make sure screens are displaying correctly 100% of airtime.

Key Accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for daily uploading content to the screens and provide solutions to ensure that all uploaded content runs smoothly. 
  • Perform proactive daily monitoring onsite of digital display networks to ensure all displays are showing content as expected. 
  • Maintain a database with current and future campaigns and the videos to be displayed as well as starting-end date and location to be displayed, so whenever a change is required it can be identified on the sopt which is previous content and where is it on display.
  • First level content validation.  Verifying that the video specs match requirements and that the content is appropriate to be displayed at HIA.
  • Send proof of play when required.
  • Maintain integrity and consistency of Broadsign (the content management software) to provide a fast and reliable service when content needs to be updated
  • Generate reports of performance and occupancy of digital displays on demand
  • Point of contact for daily operations and maintenance for hardware, software, and network of the digital media with other departments, HIA network, QDF IT and contractors.
  • Ensure key stakeholders are kept aware of resolution activities and root cause follow-up in a timely manner. 
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders in assessing, fulfilling, and maintaining digital signage requirements while meeting high quality standards.
  • Work together with marketing team and category managers to identify areas of improvement and packages creation
  • Experiment new technologies (HTML5 and dynamic content) in order to keep updated with the latest requirements from the brands

As a Technology Services Controller, you will be responsible for helping us achieve this ambition through:

  • Evaluate and reports on compliance with established Cyber Security policy, processes, procedures, control guidelines and generally accepted industry standards and practices.
