1.HICT Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop the section(s) overall strategy, business plan and budget.
  2. Develop the section(s) policies and procedures and provide interpretation to staff.
  3. Manage and coordinate activities of staff.
  4. Manage the preparation of work schedules (if applicable) and expedite workflow.
  5. Interpret job specifications and key responsibilities to direct subordinates and assign duties.
  6. Examine work for exactness, completeness and compliance to policies and procedures.
  7. Assist in the review and standardization of procedure to improve efficiency of subordinates.
  8. Perform or assist subordinate in performing duties and execute all other responsibilities assigned by the management.
  9. Monitor the subordinates’ performance and perform the annual appraisals.
  10. Implement subordinates motivation plans to ensure achievement of work goals.
  11. Identify staff training needs and attend and evaluate trainings.
  12. Detect and justify the section(s) needs for new headcount.
  13. Keep time and personnel records.
  14. Analyze and resolve work problems or assist subordinates in solving such problems.
  15. Recommend or initiate personnel actions such as promotions, transfers, discharges and disciplinary actions.
  16. Develop job descriptions.
  17. Identify challenges impacting the section talent base and propose the succession planning.
  18. Confer with peers to coordinate activities of individual section(s).
  19. Prepare performance reports.
  20. Perform other duties as assigned

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/ Computer Engineering or related discipline
  • OR Bachelor’s Degree Plus Related IT industry certification / Program from internationally recognized institutions

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • 8 years of experience in information systems management and planning out of which 3 years in managerial or supervisory capacity
  • OR 10 years of experience in information systems management and planning out of which 4 years in managerial or supervisory capacity for Bachelor’s Degree Plus IT certification holders

2.Fire & Safety Technician

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Frontline respondent to any fire emergency calls and supervises the fire and safety activity on assigned shift(s) at a facility and uses authority to stop any unsafe act.
  2. Organize pertinent data and document work through the Facilities work order system.
  3. Conducts an ongoing test program to ensure proper operation of the fire alarm signaling systems and the automatic fire sprinkler system (To include, but not limited to smoke detectors, signals, fire doors, water flows, tamper switches and fire pumps).
  4. Assist to install conduit, cabling, termination and related devices for systems maintenance and expansion. Witness the initial acceptance test and prepare deficiency report.
  5. Correct, modify, and revise drawings to reflect new installations and changes similarly Maintain fire life safety spare parts inventory and other material as needed and Write material requirements of jobs off parts catalogs and working drawings.
  6. Perform weekly, monthly, semi-annual and annual maintenance and inspections on all fire-related systems and equipment as the tests relate to NFPA and JCI requirement. Generate reports and documentation of Inspection, testing and maintenance activities.
  7. Monitor Fire Doors, Smoke Barrier, Fire Walls, Wall penetrations, Means of Egress, Exit sign, Interim Life Safety Measures (ILSM) implementation and training, Pre-Construction Risk Assessments (PCRA).
  8. Conduct fire and safety refresher training programs, evacuation techniques for the staff.
  9. Assists with the preparation and issuance of notification of project and permits. Conduct Job safety Analysis (JSA), Tool Box Talk, report near miss incident and record.
  10. Performs administrative duties as necessary, i.e., completing timesheets, time and material reports, and any other reports required. Perform facility safety inspection, construction risk assessment and maintain records.
  11. Perform other duties as assigned

Education Requirement:

  • 2 years Technical Diploma in Fire/ Safety, Engineering field

Experience:

  • 2 years’ experience in Fire/Safety field
