Provides leadership, strategies and planning to make library resources available and discoverable to library users in line with the library’s to promote research and life-long learning. Provides directions and manages the team in the acquisition, cataloguing, legal deposit, metadata creation of the library’s published collections.

The Head of Cloud Architecture & Infrastructure will be responsible to provide senior technical leadership in Cloud architecture areas of expertise in the On-prem and Clouds infrastructure.
To assist the Director of distinctive collections in the management and the development of manuscripts and archival collections (including photographs collection) ; to develop the department’s strategic objectives; and to manage and supervise acquisition, accession, arrangement and description of archival documents and manuscripts.
To work on the diverse digital collections and related services of Qatar National Library, including digital curation and preservation workflows, metadata quality, schemas, and crosswalks.
To lead in establishing risk adjusted agile IT governance policy frameworks to achieve QNL strategic outcomes. This includes adequate framework design, planning, execution, and monitoring.
Taking care of the conservation and preservation of heritage materials (Photographs, books, manuscript, library/archive materials) held in the library’s heritage collections. Supporting the activities of the IFLA PAC center and the scientific laboratory.
To manage financial operations activates for the library and supervise Finance team.
To manage the reference services and core public services for Adults in the Sciences, Social Sciences and Humanities. The position is critical to providing excellent service and timely access to a wide range of information resources.
The Senior Software Specialist analyzes, designs, evaluates, integrates and maintains Information Systems, technical environments and integration layers. Provides first and second level support to the users .
