• Security Supervisor

Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee daily security operations and ensure the effective deployment of security personnel across gates, checkpoints, patrols, reception areas, and assigned locations.
• Implement site orders, standard operating procedures, access control requirements, visitor management procedures, and approved security instructions.
• Ensure staff attendance, shift coverage, handover, and team readiness at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Monitor security performance, conduct inspections, verify the execution of security patrols, and address any deficiencies in compliance, documentation, or professional conduct.
• Lead the initial response to security incidents, emergencies, access violations, suspicious activities, and operational disruptions, and submit the necessary reports as required.
• Prepare daily security reports, incident summaries, observations, and attendance reports, and follow up on required actions.
• Guide security personnel, assign tasks, and ensure that instructions are understood and executed correctly.
• Coordinate with internal departments, contractors, visitors, and security service providers to ensure the efficient operation of security processes.
• Support investigations by professionally and confidentially collecting statements, entry logs, and preliminary data. Identify operational risks, non-compliance, and recurring problems, and propose solutions and corrective actions.
• Support training and on-the-job mentoring for new and existing security personnel.
• Perform any other job-related duties as assigned by the line manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required. Two to four years of experience in security operations within industrial, manufacturing, institutional, or large-scale facility environments, with supervisory responsibilities.
• Experience in access control, visitor management, security patrols, incident reporting, and coordination with security companies is preferred.
• Certifications in security, safety, emergency response, first aid, or crisis management are preferred.
• Ability to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Experience in corporate, military, law enforcement, or industrial security is an asset.
